I had previously tried a C&C jacket but the fit was wrong for me so i had to return it . I had seen the reviews for the new Alpine jacket which suggested to fit was better , so sent for this one as I wanted a bright easily visible jacket but not a striped one . I ordered a medium which is the size I would usually wear in the Bodyline range . It fits well with room for a base layer . It is looser across the chest than the summer weight jerseys but not flappy and the cuffs are easier to get into than my older Orkaan . I wore it last week in 3 degree temperatures that rose to 6 and it was very comfortable throughout the day . Even climbing I didn’t get too hot . I haven’t tried it yet in damp conditions to see how well that works but I would be happy to get another based on my experiences so far
